Long occupying one of Tuscany’s most scenic sites, Argiano make a fabulous Rosso di Montalcino that stylistcally falls somewhere between approachable, gluggable Rossos and the more serious “baby Brunello” approach.
The wine is invariably fresh, lifted and elegant, so is always delicious on release, yet the wealth of fruit and structured, balanced acidity mean Argiano’s Rosso can also age very well.
