“Bollinger? If it’s ’69, you were expecting me.”
Widely acknowledged as one of the world’s finest champagnes, it is no surprise that James Bond is partial to this tipple. Champagne Bollinger has featured in almost every Bond classic, receiving its first mention in the 1956 novel Diamonds Are Forever when Tiffany Case sends a bottle up to Bond’s cabin on the Queen Elizabeth.
Covering 164ha of prized vineyards, Bollinger is one of the few remaining independent family owned Champagne houses. Their distinctive style is the product of rigorous methods and time-honoured traditions passed down through the generations: a symbol of history and expertise.
The Special Cuvée is meticulously crafted from a Pinot Noir dominant blend of harvest grapes and reserve wines. Dry and creamy, the delicate bubbles complement the toasted brioche, honey and rich fruitiness of the wine.
