Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this rose tinted Champagne from the Charlemagne vineyards in Champagne’s Sezanne is full-bodied, fruit forward and exceptionally food friendly. In the glass, this is elegant and rounded, softened by the fine pearl bubbles and elevated by cassis, blackberry and strawberry notes on the palate. Its juiciness and lifted freshness makes this the perfect pairing for rich buttery seafood.
Uniquely for Rose Champagne, this is made through the Saignee method which means the beautiful red colour is obtained from the macerated Pinot Noir grapes sitting with their skins in the barrel rather than mixing red with white wine. This results in a pure and focused bubbly that tastes as beautiful as it looks.
