“A truly exciting Bourgogne Blanc from parcels in Puligny just beneath ‘Les Enseigneres’, (which is just beneath Grand Cru Batard) and Meursault, just below 1er Cru Charmes. Jane only made two barrels. A rich but refined nose of apple blossoms, and honeyed orchard fruits with plenty of waxy texture and pear fruits on the palate. A much more serious mouthful than one should reasonably expect at this level.”
